We were heading for Xinus. We chose Xinus because we already discovered the moon and the yellow and red burning sun. We gingerly avoided the meteorites (big rocks in space) that pasted by. We finally arrived at Xinus."We just discovered a new remarkable planet", I said excitedly to Ben. However, after we walked around on Xinus we couldn't find our rocket again. Luckily a few minutes later, we were able to walk all around Xinus because it was a very small planet and then found our rocket and flew back to earth.

in the sentence luckily i few minute did you mean luckily in a few minute?
I like how you explain the difficult word for the reader.
"Earth" needs a capital E as the name of a planet.
