Lost Island

Once there was a forest called Mailiam,
it was the most amazing, beautiful forest in the world, but it was  actually underwater.
The name of the forest would be the same if you wrote it backwards.
One day, all the water disappeared so the forest became an actual forest, but the boats that were sailing were stuck on the ocean floor (sand). The people saw Mailiam (forest) and helped each other to push all the boats to the forest. Luckly, there were berries that they could eat and all the people found shelter and they all lived happily ever after.

I really like that the name reads the name forwards and backwards - this is called a "palindrome".
